Overview
The Middle Atlantic PDS-1615R is a 16-outlet, 15-amp rackmount PDU built for AV and security system integrators who need controlled power sequencing in a 1U-to-1.5U footprint. The PDS-1615R ships with a 9-foot cord and supports horizontal or vertical rack mounting via its Multi-Mount design — useful when you're fitting power into a tight equipment rack alongside PoE network switches and network video recorders. The 3-step sequencing with configurable delay intervals lets you stagger device power-on order, which prevents inrush current spikes that can trip breakers when bringing up a fully loaded rack. Two-stage surge protection is included on a single 120V/15A circuit — appropriate for standard North American panel circuits without requiring a dedicated 20A feed.

The PDS-1615R is designed to fit standard 19-inch EIA equipment racks at 1.5U height. The 16 NEMA 5-15R outlets (10 front panel, 6 rear) accommodate standard three-prong plugs used across the Middle Atlantic rack system ecosystem as well as most commercial-grade security, AV, and networking gear drawing under 15 amps aggregate. The Multi-Mount bracket system accommodates both horizontal (standard 19-inch rack rail) and vertical installation, making it compatible with Middle Atlantic's rack enclosures and open-frame racks from other manufacturers.
