Overview

The Middle Atlantic RLM-20A-SP is a 20-amp, 120VAC controlled power module with series surge protection, designed to slot into Middle Atlantic MPR modular power rackmount systems. Series protection architecture — as opposed to shunt-style MOV designs — diverts surge energy away from the load path rather than clamping it, which means connected equipment isn't exposed to the residual let-through voltage that shunt designs allow. That distinction matters in AV and security racks where sensitive network hardware and recording equipment share the same distribution strip. The RLM-20A-SP carries a single 20A circuit with configurable power control, so you can assign it to a specific zone or device group within your rack and manage it independently. ETL Recognized compliance confirms the module has been evaluated to applicable safety standards. TAA compliance is not available on this SKU — confirm procurement requirements before specifying on government projects.
