Overview
The CyberPower PDU31008 is a 2U rackmount monitored power distribution unit designed to provide reliable power to critical IT equipment. It offers 200-240 VAC output at 30A, distributed through 12 IEC C13 and 4 IEC C19 receptacles, all from a single NEMA L6-30P input plug. This PDU is ideal for data centers, server rooms, and network closets where controlled and monitored power is essential for maintaining uptime. Its integrated management features allow for remote monitoring and control, helping to prevent overloads and ensure operational stability. The PDU31008 supports single-phase power and includes two 20A overload protection circuits for enhanced safety.
Compatibility
This PDU is compatible with standard 19-inch server racks when mounted horizontally or vertically. It is designed for use with equipment requiring 200-240 VAC input, such as servers, network switches, storage arrays, and other rack-mounted IT hardware. The NEMA L6-30P input plug requires a corresponding 30A, 240V locking outlet. Its RJ45 Ethernet port enables integration with network management systems via SNMP, and the RJ45 serial port provides an alternative connection for local management or configuration. The CyberPower Management Console software facilitates remote monitoring and control.
Installation Notes
Mounting options include horizontal rackmount (2U space required), vertical rackmount, and wallmount configurations. The unit operates within an ambient temperature range of 32-113°F (0-45°C) and humidity levels of 0-95% non-condensing. Ensure the input power source can supply a stable 200-240 VAC at 30A. The 12 ft (3.7 m) power cord offers flexibility in placement within a rack or data center environment. Overload protection is set at 20A per outlet bank.
