Overview
The ATEN UC8000 is a USB-C bus-powered, 6-channel AI audio mixer built for live streaming, podcasting, and AV production workflows where clean, high-fidelity audio capture and real-time mixing are required without a dedicated power supply. A single USB Type-C connection handles both power and audio output to the host, keeping the desk clean and the setup portable. The UC8000 delivers 24-bit/96kHz audio sampling — a step above the 16-bit/48kHz floor common in basic USB interfaces — which reduces quantization noise and preserves headroom for post-processing. Equivalent input noise of -128dBu or less means even low-output microphones stay clean at high gain, a practical advantage in quiet studio or broadcast environments. The 1MΩ input impedance accommodates a wide range of source devices without loading down high-impedance instruments or condenser microphones. Maximum input level tops out at +4dBu, aligning with standard line-level professional gear.
