Verify your camera or edge appliance supports Lumeo cloud connectivity before purchase—on-premise DVR/NVR systems that do not integrate with Lumeo cloud require a different subscription tier or are ineligible.
Installation Notes
No hardware installation required. The license activates via your Lumeo cloud account dashboard. Ensure cameras or edge devices are provisioned in Lumeo and actively streaming before activating the storage license. Activation takes effect immediately; prior recordings (if any) become searchable once indexing completes, typically within 1–2 hours depending on volume. Confirm bandwidth capacity at the edge—continuous HD streams consume 2–4 Mbps per camera depending on resolution and frame rate. If your internet connection cannot support the aggregate bandwidth, footage will buffer or drop, defeating retention coverage.
