Overview
The RGM150B-M8PNZ/T4-A is a UL-listed 150W rack-mount power distribution system designed to consolidate access control power, battery backup, and safety functions in a single 3RU enclosure. It solves the integration complexity of managing separate power supplies, chargers, and control modules across distributed door control infrastructure by providing managed outputs, voltage switching, and integrated fire alarm supervision in one chassis.
Core Functionality
Dual voltage output (12V and 24V selectable per output zone) accommodates mixed lock and reader voltage requirements without separate supplies. Eight 2.5A Class 2 outputs support individual voltage assignment, current monitoring, and programmable failsafe/failsecure logic—critical for ensuring predictable lock behavior during power events. Built-in fire alarm disconnect automatically de-energizes door locks on fire alarm signal, meeting life-safety codes. Low battery cutoff prevents deep discharge damage to backup batteries, extending service life. Form C contacts for AC fault and system fault conditions enable integration with remote monitoring and alarm panels.

120VAC input with integrated fast charging optimizes battery recovery time and prolongs battery lifespan. Enhanced surge immunity on input and output protects against transient damage from HVAC, lighting, and motor loads common in warehouse and facility automation environments. Programmable per-output cycle count tracking supports maintenance scheduling and identifies high-frequency cycling that may indicate lock or reader faults.
Monitoring & Control
OutSmart dual-color LEDs (12V/green, 24V/blue) provide visual power status confirmation at a glance. Optional NetLink module enables remote battery testing, voltage/current monitoring per output, temperature supervision, tamper detection, and email/SNMP alerting—reducing on-site troubleshooting calls and extending response time for fault conditions. Compatible with MSM Enterprise management dashboards.
Physical
19-inch 3RU rack mount form factor (3.5H × 19.0W × 20.5D inches) fits standard server racks and wall-mounted 19-inch enclosures. Compact depth minimizes cabinet intrusion.
