Overview
The FPV6-BOXED is a compact, switchable 6-amp power supply for mid-scale surveillance deployments. It outputs either 12VDC or 24VDC at up to 6 amps, giving you 72 watts of available power — sufficient for multi-camera runs or mixed powered endpoints where PoE is not the primary delivery mechanism. The boxed form factor integrates into cabinet infrastructure without requiring DIN-rail mounting, useful in retrofit or decentralized power topologies where centralized PoE switches are not feasible or where legacy 12/24VDC cameras and door controllers coexist in the same facility.
Compatibility
The FPV6-BOXED supports any 12VDC or 24VDC-rated endpoint — analog camera supplies, IP turrets, access control readers, and sensor modules rated for these voltages. Verify polarity and amperage draw against your specific device datasheet before commissioning; 6 amps is the absolute maximum aggregate load.
Installation Notes
Confirm output voltage setting (12V or 24V) before wiring endpoints. Apply voltage at the power supply terminals; use gauge wire appropriate to current draw and cable run length (typically 18 AWG or heavier for runs under 100 feet). Do not exceed 6 amps total load. Site the supply in an enclosure or cabinet where ambient temperature remains within the unit's operating range.
