Description

Lifesafety Power FPO75-D8PE2M 75W Power Supply with 8 Auxiliary Outputs

Overview

The FPO75-D8PE2M is a compact 75W power supply designed for distributed camera and access control deployments where a single primary load (6A at 12VDC or 3A at 24VDC) must coexist with multiple secondary circuits. The E2M enclosure houses a Mercury back plate, providing both mechanical stability and consistent grounding across auxiliary circuits. This architecture solves the common integration challenge in warehouse and facility automation: consolidating power for primary systems (PTZ heads, encoders, or main camera hubs) while independently feeding IP cameras or door controllers at 2.5A per channel—eliminating the need for separate power rails and reducing panel clutter.

Compatibility

The FPO75-D8PE2M integrates into systems requiring a mixed-voltage primary output paired with isolated auxiliary feeds. Eight class 2 power-limited outputs (each rated 2.5A maximum) suit compact installations where powered endpoints must remain independent yet centrally supervised. Confirm voltage and amperage requirements match your primary load; the supply does not function as a PoE alternative—use alongside a PoE switch if hybrid power delivery is required.

Installation Notes

The supply is wall- or DIN-mount compatible within the E2M enclosure. Mercury back plate grounds the frame to enclosure metal for noise isolation. All eight auxiliary circuits share the 2.5A per-channel limit; aggregate load across all outputs cannot exceed the 75W total budget. Verify primary voltage selection (12V or 24V) matches downstream device ratings before commissioning. No battery backup is integrated—external UPS integration must be specified separately if ride-through is required.
