Description

Lifesafety Power FPO75-D8PE1M 75W Power Supply with 8 Auxiliary Outputs

Overview

The FPO75-D8PE1M is a compact 75W power supply designed to distribute power to networked security endpoints and control devices across small-to-medium access control and surveillance installations. It delivers selectable 12VDC at 6A or 24VDC at 3A on its primary output, with eight auxiliary outputs each rated at 2.5A maximum—allowing you to power door locks, readers, relay modules, or low-power IP cameras from a single enclosure. The E1M form factor with Mercury back plate mounts securely in electrical cabinets, minimizing wiring complexity and reducing single points of failure across distributed endpoints.

Compatibility

The FPO75-D8PE1M integrates with Lifesafety Power control panels, door lock interfaces, and legacy access control systems that accept 12V or 24V DC input. The eight class 2 auxiliary outputs support standard 18–24 AWG control wiring and are suitable for powering integrated access readers, electronic strikes, request-to-exit sensors, and auxiliary relay circuits. Verify voltage and current draw before connecting endpoints; exceeding 2.5A on any single auxiliary output will trigger power-limited circuit protection.

Installation Notes

Mount the enclosure on a DIN rail or cabinet wall with the Mercury back plate facing outward for proper grounding contact. Input power is 110–240VAC (auto-sensing). All outputs are individual fused; replace with same-gauge fuses if a circuit trips. Auxiliary outputs are class 2 power-limited—acceptable for low-voltage control circuits but not suitable for high-current motor loads or PoE switch powered device backup. Confirm all wiring terminates in secure screw-down terminals to prevent intermittent connections in vibration-prone environments.
