Questions about this product? Free pre-sales support from a senior specialist — product questions, compatibility checks, BOM quotes, price confirmation — typically answered within one business day. Need camera placement or system design work? Engineering time is $175 per hour (qty 1 = 1 hour). Hardware buyers get up to one hour ($175) credited back on their order.
The FPO75-D8E2 is a 75-watt supervised power supply designed to centralize power distribution for security and access control systems. It provides eight separate outputs, allowing a single unit to feed multiple cameras, readers, door locks, and auxiliary devices from one point—reducing wiring runs and simplifying troubleshooting on larger installations. The supervised architecture detects output faults and reports them, so you know immediately if a load has failed or been disconnected.
This unit works with any 12VDC or 24VDC security device that draws power within the per-output current limits. Common integrations include IP cameras, magnetic locks, buzzer modules, and relay-driven equipment in the Lifesafety Power ecosystem. Verify your device's voltage and current requirements against the supply's rated output before installation.
Output Configuration: Eight independent outputs deliver power with individual supervision—each channel monitored for load integrity. This prevents undetected power loss to critical devices.
Power Budget: 75 watts total capacity means you can distribute power across multiple cameras and devices without overloading a single feeder line. Plan for peak simultaneous draw, not nameplate capacity.
Battery Backup: Integrated battery charger supports optional backup battery installation, enabling hold-up power for door locks and alarm signaling during mains failure—critical where life-safety code requires fail-safe egress.
Supervision: Monitored outputs detect when a connected device is disconnected or fails, triggering an alarm condition—essential for detecting cut wires or sabotage on security-critical circuits.
Mount in a protected enclosure away from wet environments unless you specify a weatherproof variant. Wire outputs separately to avoid cross-coupling faults. Use appropriate gauge cabling for the distance and current draw of each load—undersized wire causes voltage drop and device shutdown.
