Description

Lifesafety Power FPO75-C4PE1 Class 2 Power Supply

Overview

The FPO75-C4PE1 is a 75W Class 2 power supply designed to deliver supervised DC power to access control systems, electric strike locks, door holders, and other security peripherals. Four independent lock outputs—each current-limited to 2.5A—give you granular control over four separate circuits. Total output capacity: 6A @ 12VDC or 3A @ 24VDC. The E1 enclosure (NEMA 1 equivalent) suits indoor wall mounting in control rooms, mechanical closets, or secure equipment racks.

Compatibility

The FPO75-C4PE1 integrates with any Class 2 access control system, electric lock, or door controller that operates on 12VDC or 24VDC. Common applications include 4-door access control panels (one supervised output per door), fail-safe/fail-secure strike lock circuits, magnetic locks on emergency exits, and door-holder solenoids in life-safety applications. Verify your panel's input voltage requirement (12V vs. 24V) before wiring—the supply outputs only one voltage at a time, selected via jumpers or terminal configuration.

Installation Notes

Mount the E1 enclosure vertically on a wall or inside a control cabinet using the provided mounting holes. Each of the four outputs is Class 2 power-limited per UL 2043—no additional breakers or fuses required on individual circuits, though supervised loop wiring must comply with local electrical code. Wire lock circuits in series for supervision, monitoring door magnet continuity and detecting tamper or burnout. Run 18–14 AWG stranded copper to the lock terminals; torque specs and exact terminal assignments are detailed in the manufacturer installation guide. Allow 3–5 inches of clearance above the enclosure for heat dissipation during sustained 75W load.
