Description

Lifesafety Power FPO75-B100C4PE1 75W Power Supply Module

Overview

The FPO75-B100C4PE1 is a 75W field-mounted power supply designed to centralize 12VDC and 24VDC distribution for access control, locking hardware, and perimeter security endpoints. The unit provides dual switchable outputs (6A @ 12V or 3A @ 24V) plus a 4A adjustable secondary (5–18V) for mixed-voltage deployments where power supply consolidation reduces cabinet clutter and simplifies field troubleshooting. The four class 2 power-limited relay outputs at 2.5A per channel support fail-safe or fail-secure locking configurations selectable per output — critical when door hardware must default to a known state during power loss or system fault.

Compatibility

This module integrates into PoE switch backed architectures where local 12V/24V distribution cannot be centralized. Use with electronic locks, magnetic holders, card readers, and alarm relays rated for 12–24VDC. The E1 enclosure (14H × 12W × 4.5D inches) fits standard wall-mount or DIN rail installations alongside networked controllers.

Installation Notes

Field-wired inputs and outputs require 16–22 AWG termination. Each relay output is independently selectable for failsafe (energized to unlock) or failsecure (de-energized to lock) logic — confirm locking hardware state requirements before commissioning. The adjustable 5–18V secondary supports legacy or mixed-voltage sensors without additional regulators.

When to Choose a Different Model

If you require integrated battery backup or UPS functionality, consider higher-capacity power modules in the Lifesafety Power catalog that bundle charger circuitry. For PoE-only endpoints like IP cameras, this module is unnecessary; use PoE injection at the switch instead.
