Description

Lifesafety Power FPO75-C4D8PE2M/T4-A 75W Power Supply Board

Overview

The FPO75-C4D8PE2M/T4-A is a 75W power distribution board designed for access control and security panel integration. It delivers either 6A at 12V or 3A at 24V — enough to run multiple door locks, readers, and auxiliary devices from a single centralized supply. This board is pre-wired for Mercury series panels and includes 4 dedicated lock outputs plus 8 auxiliary channels, eliminating the need for separate 24V and 12V supplies at each door. If you're building a multi-door access control system where power loss to any single reader or lock would break the perimeter, this is the board that consolidates that risk.

Compatibility

This board integrates directly with Lifesafety Power Mercury access control systems. The pre-wired harness (1502/MR52) connects to Mercury 4-door reader panels without additional termination. It supplies power to electromagnetic locks (standard 12V DC draw), magnet-lock readers, request-to-exit sensors, and auxiliary relay outputs. Confirm your panel model before ordering — the harness is specific to the Mercury series architecture.

Installation Notes

Mount the board in an electrical enclosure with forced-air ventilation if ambient temperature exceeds 60°C — 75W continuous output generates measurable heat. The tie-wrap bundle keeps the pre-wired harness organized during panel installation. Both 12V and 24V rails are live simultaneously; do not mix voltage supplies to the same lock circuit. Verify load distribution: 6A at 12V supports up to four standard electromagnetic locks (average 1.5A each) plus auxiliary devices. The board does not include surge protection — integrate an external 24V/12V transient suppressor if the installation includes long runs to readers or solenoids outdoors.
