Lifesafety Power FPO75-B100C4D8PE4M1 75W Industrial Power Supply Module
Overview
The FPO75-B100C4D8PE4M1 is a 75W power module engineered for distributed power supply deployments in access control, door management, and security system installations. It delivers either 6A at 12VDC or 3A at 24VDC from a standard AC input, with an adjustable secondary 5–18V output rated at 4A maximum. This configuration supports mixed-voltage endpoint ecosystems where legacy 12V infrastructure coexists with modern 24V equipment—eliminating the need for separate power rails and reducing panel real estate.
Outputs and Control
Four dedicated relay lock control outputs (fused independently at 3A each) provide failsafe/failsecure switching for door strikes, mag locks, and credential readers. Each relay is selectable for FAI (Fire Alarm Interface) or standard failsafe/failsecure logic, enabling coordinated access denial during emergency events. Eight class 2 power-limited auxiliary outputs (2.5A per output) are bus-selectable, allowing independent distribution to sensors, request-to-exit devices, and supplemental signaling without overloading a single circuit. This granular output architecture simplifies wiring discipline and fault isolation in multi-zone access control systems.
Physical and Environmental Specification
The unit measures 24H × 20W × 4.5D inches with a Mercury back plate and integral door-mount kit. This shallow form factor (4.5 inches deep) fits standard electrical cabinets without requiring extension rails, and the back-plate design permits secure mounting to existing DIN-rail or cabinet doors. The enclosure houses all outputs and fusing, reducing field wiring complexity and inventory management for integrators deploying multiple units across a facility.
Installation Notes
Each relay output and auxiliary output is independently fused—verify amperage load per endpoint before assignment to prevent nuisance trips. Relay outputs support both FAI and standard logic; configure during commissioning based on site fire code requirements. Primary input voltage and secondary 5–18V output are not simultaneous; configure secondary output only when primary 12V/24V rails are unavailable on the endpoint device.
