Description

Lifesafety Power FPO75-B100C4D8E2X 75W Power Supply with Relay Control Outputs

Overview

The FPO75-B100C4D8E2X is a 75W power supply designed to deliver both primary load power and integrated relay logic control for distributed access control and security device networks. The unit bridges power infrastructure and control wiring in deployments where a centralized power and switching node reduces panel clutter and simplifies provisioning of electromagnetic locks, door strikes, and auxiliary control circuits across a facility.

Output and Control Architecture

The supply offers dual primary outputs: 6A at 12VDC or 3A at 24VDC, plus an adjustable 5–18VDC secondary output rated at 4A maximum — useful for powering variable-voltage sensors or legacy devices. Four relay lock control outputs, each fused at 3A, support per-output configuration for failsafe (de-energize to unlock), failsecure (energize to lock), or FAI (fire alarm interface) logic. Eight additional DC auxiliary outputs, also fused at 3A each, may be assigned to either Bus1 or Bus2, enabling independent control circuits for gate operators, strobes, or indicator lighting without cross-loading.

Integration and Deployment

Relay and auxiliary output selection is field-configurable, allowing the supply to adapt to mixed lock types and auxiliary device requirements in the same installation — typical in multi-building or multi-tenant campuses where access control topology varies. The fused architecture (3A per output) provides circuit isolation and prevents single device failure from cascading across other outputs. This design fits integrators deploying IP cameras and access readers where centralized power distribution and relay switching reduce the need for separate relay modules or expanded control panels.

Specifications
Form Factor: Power supply module
Output Voltage: 12VDC @ 6A or 24VDC @ 3A (selectable); adjustable secondary 5–18VDC @ 4A max
Max Current: 6A @ 12V or 3A @ 24V (primary); 4A (secondary adjustable); 3A per relay/auxiliary output
Number of Outputs: 4 relay lock control + 8 auxiliary DC = 12 total control outputs
