Description

Lifesafety Power FPO75/150-C4D8E2 Dual-Mode Power Supply with Lock Control

Overview

The FPO75/150-C4D8E2 is a configurable power supply designed to deliver supervised power to up to 4 electric locks while providing 8 independent fused auxiliary outputs for secondary devices. The unit operates in two modes—75W at 6A/12V or 3A/24V, or 150W at 12A/12V or 6A/24V—allowing flexibility across mixed-voltage access control deployments. Each auxiliary output is independently fused at 3A, protecting connected peripherals from overcurrent conditions. The E2 enclosure suits indoor equipment rooms and secured electrical cabinets.

Compatibility

Deploy the FPO75/150-C4D8E2 in legacy and modern access control systems requiring supervised lock power and auxiliary circuit distribution. The 4-lock configuration supports single or dual-voltage lock architectures; auxiliary outputs accommodate card readers, request-to-exit sensors, door position switches, and other low-current 12VDC or 24VDC accessories. Consult integration specifications for your access control panel to confirm voltage matching and supervision protocol compatibility.

Installation Notes

The unit requires a standard electrical enclosure mounting point and 120VAC input. Verify that your facility's electrical service can sustain the selected power mode (75W or 150W peak draw). Each of the 8 auxiliary outputs must be individually fused—ensure that connected devices do not exceed 3A per circuit. Wire lock and auxiliary loads separately to maintain supervision integrity on lock circuits. Verify E2 enclosure clearances for heat dissipation in equipment rooms operating continuously.
