Questions about this product? Free pre-sales support from a senior specialist — product questions, compatibility checks, BOM quotes, price confirmation — typically answered within one business day. Need camera placement or system design work? Engineering time is $175 per hour (qty 1 = 1 hour). Hardware buyers get up to one hour ($175) credited back on their order.
The FPO250/250-3C83D8PE8M3 is a 250W power supply engineered for multi-door and multi-device access control installations. It delivers either 20A at 12VDC or 10A at 24VDC — sufficient to power multiple electric strikes, magnet locks, and request-to-exit sensors across a single protected circuit. The dual-voltage design eliminates SKU proliferation in mixed 12V/24V deployments, reducing inventory complexity on mid-sized system builds.
Relay Lock Control Outputs: Eight independently fused relay outputs (3A per channel) each support FAI (Fail As Is), failsafe, or failsecure operation — configurable on a per-door basis. This flexibility allows you to specify different fail modes for entry vs. exit doors without requiring separate power supplies or external logic boards.
Auxiliary DC Outputs: Eight class 2 power-limited auxiliary outputs (2.5A per channel) selectable for Bus1 or Bus2 operation. These support sensor circuits, annunciator devices, or low-power LED indicators without consuming relay capacity.
Enclosure Form Factor: E8 size (36H × 30W × 6.5D inches) mounts vertically in standard relay racks or wall-mount configurations. Includes 16 DR Mercury back plate and door-mount kit for cabinet integration.
The FPO250/250-3C83D8PE8M3 is a standalone power control module — not tied to a specific door controller or panel. It integrates with any access control system using standard 12VDC or 24VDC relay inputs: legacy hardwired panels, modern IP-based controllers, and hybrid setups. Verify relay coil voltage compatibility with your panel's output terminals before installation.
All eight relay outputs are field-fused at 3A; ensure door strike current draw does not exceed this rating per channel. Auxiliary outputs are class 2 limited and cannot be paralleled beyond their individual 2.5A rating. Plan Bus1/Bus2 assignments during system design to balance auxiliary loads evenly.
