The FPO150-D8E1 is a 150W supervised power supply housed in a compact E1 enclosure, designed to distribute and protect auxiliary 12VDC or 24VDC loads across multiple security subsystems in integrated deployments. The supervised architecture ensures fault detection at the panel, reducing troubleshooting time when peripheral devices lose power or draw exceeds limits. Deploy this in installations where access control readers, door strikes, alarm sensors, and auxiliary relays must operate on independent fused circuits, but centralized supervision is required for system integrity.
Eight isolated auxiliary outputs are independently fused at 3A per channel — total 12A at 12V or 6A at 24V within the 150W envelope. Fusing protects downstream equipment from short-circuit propagation; if one output shorts, the others remain live. Output voltage (12V or 24V) is field-selectable, allowing single-unit deployment across mixed voltage installations without SKU duplication.
This supply integrates with access control panels, video management systems, and hybrid security platforms that require auxiliary power distribution with per-circuit protection and supervision signaling. Verify that your panel supports supervised power input and check the voltage and current draw of each connected device — undersized fusing will nuisance-trip; oversized fusing negates short-circuit protection. When used in multi-site deployments, confirm that supervision signals (typically dry contacts or serial feedback) are wired to the control panel's input interface.
Mount in a secure, climate-controlled cabinet near the main control panel to minimize voltage drop across long runs. Input power, output fuses, and supervision leads require standard panel wiring. Allow adequate clearance around the enclosure for airflow and service access to fuse cartridges. Each fused output should be labeled at the terminal block for future technician reference.
