Overview
The FPO150-B100C8D8PE4M1/T8-A is a 150W rated auxiliary power supply engineered for distributed access control and door management installations. It delivers either 12VDC at 12A or 24VDC at 6A, addressing the common constraint that a single power infrastructure often cannot support both high-current camera feeds and low-voltage lock/reader circuits from one device. The dual-voltage switchable output means a single unit replaces two SKUs across mixed-voltage sites.
Output and Control Architecture
Eight Class 2 power-limited DC auxiliary outputs (2.5A per channel, individually fused) handle powered endpoints—readers, door controllers, sensors. Each output is independently selectable for Bus1 or Bus2operation, allowing segregation of circuits by zone or functional group without running separate supply lines. Eight dedicated relay lock control outputs (3A per relay, individually fused) support door strikes, magnetic locks, and controlled egress hardware; each relay is independently configurable for failsafe, failsecure, or FAI (Fire Alarm Interface) mode. This granularity is critical: failsafe relays release on power loss (emergency egress), failsecure relays hold on loss (access denied during outage), and FAI relays respond to fire signaling protocol—configuration flexibility avoids site-specific rewiring.
Installation Notes
