Overview
The FPO150/250-C8D8E2 is a hardened power supply enclosure designed to feed security systems requiring split 12V/24V supplies. It delivers either 150W at 12V or 250W at 24V from a single input — critical for installations where camera rails, access control panels, and auxiliary devices each demand different voltage. The E2 enclosure rating protects against dust and moisture ingress in mechanical rooms, outdoor terminal boxes, or harsh-environment cabinets.
Compatibility
This unit works with any 24VAC primary input and pairs directly with 12V or 24V security system loads — cameras, door strikes, intercoms, signal devices, and control relays. Eight fused auxiliary outputs (3A per line @ 12V or 24V) let you branch power to multiple end devices without daisy-chaining or adding secondary distribution blocks. Compatible with standard cabinet-mounted or wall-mount surveillance architectures using dual-voltage wiring conventions.
Installation Notes
Fusing at 3A per auxiliary output prevents downstream fault cascade — if one device shorts, only that branch drops. The primary 12A (12V) or 6A (24V) trunk fuse protects the main supply rail; 20A (12V) or 10A (24V) capacity on the 250W tap provides headroom for mixed loads. Mount the enclosure in a dry location with access for terminal connections. Verify voltage setting (12V vs. 24V output) at commissioning — misconfiguration will damage polarity-sensitive devices.
