The FPO150/250-2D82M8NLCE4 is a configurable power supply designed for security and life-safety systems requiring redundant or scalable 12VDC and 24VDC distribution. The unit ships with selectable capacity: 150W at 12A/12V or 250W at 20A/12V output, with corresponding 24V alternates at 6A (150W) or 10A (250W). This flexibility allows single-enclosure deployment across mixed-voltage sensor, camera, and control loads.
The FPO150/250-2D82M8NLCE4 integrates with Lifesafety Power control and monitoring systems. Eight DC auxiliary outputs are fused independently at 3A per output, each selectable for Bus1 or Bus2 operation—enabling load distribution across two distinct circuits or backup branches. The managed distribution module provides the same fused-output architecture, allowing IP cameras, access control readers, door strikes, and auxiliary sensors to run on isolated fused rails. This topology prevents cascading failures when a single load shorts or draws excessive current.
Each of the 8 outputs carries a 3A Class 2 fuse. Verify total load current across all active outputs does not exceed the unit's rated primary amperage (12A at 12V or 20A at 12V depending on configuration selected). Bus1/Bus2 assignment is field-selectable per output, supporting N+1 or parallel redundancy schemes. Consult the control panel or master supervisor for dual-bus synchronization requirements before commissioning.
If a single output must exceed 3A, or if more than 8 independent fused circuits are required, evaluate higher-capacity Lifesafety Power variants in the FPO series or standalone PoE switch platforms for powered endpoints. For systems requiring built-in battery backup or UPS conditioning, confirm whether the FPO150/250 frame supports optional backup modules before purchasing.
