The BX50-E1 extracts power from a single PoE source and splits it to feed two separate devices—solving the common constraint where one upstream PoE injector or switch port must serve a device that consumes more than a single PoE budget allows, or where two networked cameras or access points sit in adjacent locations sharing one cable run. Rated 50W output, FAI/UL294 listed for commercial installations.
Works with any standard PoE source (802.3af or 802.3at injector, or PoE switch port) and compatible with two connected devices drawing a combined maximum of 50W. Typical pairing: dual IP cameras or a mix of camera and auxiliary equipment (e.g., door strike, access control reader) in locations where a single PoE run cannot be split otherwise. Verify downstream device power draw against the 50W combined limit before deployment.
Connect the upstream PoE source to the input port; daisy-chain or split to the two output ports serving your end devices. Mount near the connected equipment to minimize voltage drop over long cable runs—power loss increases with distance, especially under full 50W load. Ensure both downstream devices are properly powered before commissioning. The UL294 listing confirms suitability for life-safety and commercial security applications.
