It converts 120VAC mains to regulated DC power and integrates a 12 Ah internal battery for backup operation—essential for LPR deployments where gaps in power mean missed vehicle events. The IP67 weatherproof rating handles outdoor temperature swings and moisture without degradation, while the M12 connector interface ensures secure, quick-disconnect wiring. Mount it on a pole or in a rack enclosure near the L6Q camera to minimize cable runs and simplify installation.
Compatibility
This unit is designed specifically for the Pelco L6Q license plate recognition camera system. Verify compatibility with your L6Q deployment before ordering—the M12 connector type and voltage specification (120VAC input) must match your regional power availability and camera configuration. The VS-L6Q-120VAC does not interoperate with other Pelco surveillance cameras or third-party vendors.
Installation Notes
Mount the unit on a pole or in a standard rack enclosure using the supplied bracket and band straps. Ensure AC mains input is protected by a dedicated 15A breaker. The IP67 housing tolerates outdoor temperature ranges and direct rain or snow; no additional weatherproof cabinet is required.
