ATEN CL5816N LCD KVM Switch

Overview

The ATEN CL5816N is a 16-port dual-rail LCD KVM switch designed for efficient server management in rack environments. Its integrated 19" LED-backlit LCD display and keyboard/touchpad allow you to control up to 16 direct computer connections from a single console. This unit is ideal for IT administrators managing multiple servers in data centers, server rooms, or network closets where space is at a premium and direct console access is required.

Compatibility

This KVM switch supports both PS/2 and USB connectivity, allowing it to interface with a wide range of servers and workstations. It provides direct connections for 16 computers. The CL5816N is also daisy-chainable, enabling expansion to control up to 512 computers by linking compatible ATEN KVM switches.

Installation Notes

The CL5816N features a 19" rack-mountable form factor, designed to occupy 1U of rack space. Its dual-rail design allows the LCD console to slide out independently of the KVM switch, or both to slide in together, optimizing space utilization. The unit includes LED illumination for the console area, improving visibility in low-light conditions.
