Overview
The Panduit JB1EI-A is a single-gang, one-piece low voltage surface mount outlet box designed for clean cable management and device termination within Panduit's Pan-Way® LD profile raceway systems. Its adhesive backing simplifies installation on flat surfaces, eliminating the need for additional mounting hardware in many scenarios. This box is ideal for applications requiring the discreet installation of low voltage devices like network jacks, audio/visual connectors, or small sensors where a single-gang footprint is sufficient.
Compatibility
This junction box is specifically designed for use with the Panduit Pan-Way® LD profile surface raceway system. It accepts standard Pan-Way® screw-on faceplates for a seamless integration with the raceway. Additionally, it is compatible with any NEMA standard single gang faceplate, providing flexibility for device connectivity.
Installation Notes
The JB1EI-A features an adhesive backing for quick mounting. It also includes breakout points for ½”, ¾”, or 1” diameter conduit, allowing for secure cable entry and termination. The ABS plastic construction ensures durability in commercial environments. The overall dimensions are 5.09" L x 3.34" W x 1.75" H (129.3mm x 84.8mm x 19.1mm), with an overall height of 0.75" (19mm) when used with compatible faceplates and raceway.
