Overview
The Aiphone IXGW-TGW is a cellular gateway adaptor designed to provide remote access and communication for the Aiphone IXG series IP intercom system. It utilizes LTE and WCDMA networks, allowing for communication with mobile apps and remote stations even when a direct network connection is unavailable. This unit is ideal for deployments where on-site network infrastructure is limited or for providing a redundant communication path. The IXGW-TGW supports up to 8 simultaneous intercom calls and 1 phone channel, with robust encryption protocols ensuring secure communication.
Compatibility
This gateway is specifically designed for use with the Aiphone IXG series IP intercom systems. It enables mobile app registration for up to 8 devices per tenant station and supports a total of 9,999 registered mobile apps across the system. The device is mountable on a DIN rail, common in many control panels and network closets.
Installation Notes
The IXGW-TGW requires an IEEE 802.3af Class 0 PoE network connection for power and data, drawing a maximum of 5.8W. It operates within an ambient temperature range of 14° to 122°F (-10° to 50°C). The unit supports both IPv4 and IPv6 network protocols, along with SIP for call management. Secure communication is maintained via TLS 1.2 encryption.
