Description

HID 1386LGGMN Isoprox II Proximity Access Card

Overview

The HID 1386LGGMN is an RF-programmable Isoprox II proximity credential — a passive, wallet-sized card that pairs with any HID proximity reader to control access doors. It carries no battery, so read performance is unaffected by wear, storage conditions, or nearby metal objects like keys or coins. This makes it the standard choice for high-turnover environments (retail, hospitality, multi-tenant buildings) where credentials must work reliably across variable field conditions and survive physical handling.

Compatibility

The 1386LGGMN works with all HID proximity readers that support the Isoprox II card format. If your access control system uses HID readers (any reader in the HID proximity line), this card will pair without additional programming hardware. The card supports formats up to 85 bits and encodes over 137 billion unique codes, eliminating collisions in systems managing hundreds or thousands of credentials.

Physical Characteristics

Lightweight (6.8 grams) and pocket-sized, the card fits into a standard wallet or can be worn on a lanyard with an external clip. The finish is high-gloss on front and back, providing a professional appearance suitable for photo ID overlay applications. The gloss surface resists scratches during daily carry and remains readable after months of wallet use.

Durability and Security

Constructed from durable PVC, the card is resistant to cracking and flexing damage. The passive RF design (no electronics to fail) delivers infinite operational life — no battery replacement cycles. The credential format supports cross-reference tracking, allowing your access control system to correlate the external card number with the programmed ID for audit and administration purposes.
