Overview
The Panduit FDPPEIG is an IndustrialNet™ DIN rail-mount fiber optic patch panel engineered for protection of terminated, distribution-style fiber cabling in industrial and commercial control environments. At 5.9 inches tall and 2.6 inches wide, this compact gray enclosure mounts to a standard 35mm DIN rail — the same rail used for PLCs, terminal blocks, and industrial switches — so your fiber terminations integrate into the same cabinet footprint as the rest of your control infrastructure. If you are specifying fiber management for a hardened industrial panel or a distribution enclosure where DIN real estate is already allocated, the FDPPEIG is built specifically for that application.
The enclosure ships with a PG21 cable entry gland and two interchangeable inserts, letting you adapt to different fiber cable diameters at entry rather than sourcing a separate gland. Adjustable latches lock it onto the DIN rail and are designed to also allow flat-surface mounting — useful when a DIN rail is not available but you need the same form factor. For environments that require formal compliance traceability, the FDPPEIG meets IEC 60715, DIN EN 60715, DIN EN 50022, DIN 46277-3, BS 5584:1978, IEC 60068 environmental testing, and carries cULus listing with RoHS compliance.
