Overview
The Panduit ISTP6X10MBLR is a 10-meter Category 6A Shielded Fully Twisted Pair (SFTP) IndustrialNet patch cord. It features a bayonet-style interface with tactile lock, designed for secure and reliable data transmission in demanding industrial settings where moisture, dust, extreme temperatures, and vibration are present. This cord provides an ideal solution for connecting plant floor devices to the local area network, ensuring robust performance.
Compatibility
This patch cord is designed to support industrial Ethernet applications and exceeds channel and component requirements of ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 Category 6A and ISO11801 Class EA standards up to 500 MHz. It meets IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at for Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications, making it compatible with a wide range of industrial network devices and PoE-enabled equipment. The bulkhead connection is rated IP65/IP67 for dust protection and temporary liquid immersion.
Installation Notes
The cable construction is SF/UTP with 24 AWG stranded conductors. The connectors are modular plugs, designed for robust termination. The flammability rating is CM/CMX, suitable for use in pathways requiring these ratings. Contacts are plated with 50 microinches of gold for superior performance and corrosion resistance.
