HID 2001PG1MN iClass Card 16K with 2 App Area Programming
Overview
The HID 2001PG1MN is a 16KB iClass proximity card configured for 2-application area programming — a physical credential engineered for multi-site or multi-system deployments where cardholders need access across separate logical credential spaces without physical card replacement. This card works across HID access control systems, third-party readers supporting iClass, DESFire, MIFARE, or SEOS standards, and systems accepting 125 kHz proximity. The 16K capacity provides sufficient memory to store multiple application keys and access rules, reducing credential lifecycle management overhead in enterprise environments.
Compatibility
The 2001PG1MN integrates with any access control system accepting iClass, DESFire, MIFARE, or SEOS credential technologies at 13.56 MHz or 125 kHz proximity readers. HID Signo readers (20, 40, 20K, 40K, 40T models) natively support this credential. Third-party access control panels and readers claiming iClass or DESFire interoperability will recognize this card. If your system uses legacy magnetic-stripe-only or Wiegand-only readers without 13.56 MHz capability, this card will not function — you'll need readers explicitly rated for iClass or NFC/13.56 MHz support. Confirm your existing reader supports at least one of the credential types listed above before ordering.
Installation Notes
No installation required for the card itself — it ships factory-programmed with 2 application areas ready for area-specific key provisioning. Distribute cards to end users as standard physical credentials. If configuring area-specific access rules, your system administrator must program each application area independently through your access control management software; consult your VMS or PACS documentation for application area provisioning steps. Minimum order quantity is 100 units.
