Description

HID 2003PGGMV Proximity Card Reader

Overview

The HID 2003PGGMV is an iClass 32K proximity reader engineered for multi-credential access control deployments where mixed card populations and forward compatibility matter. This model supports 16K/2 + 16K/1 memory configurations with programmable credentials, meaning you can run older legacy cards alongside newer encrypted iCLASS and DESFire issuance without hardware replacement. OSDP communication keeps traffic encrypted end-to-end between the reader and your access control panel — critical for facilities handling regulated environments.

Compatibility

The 2003PGGMV integrates with HID access control systems and third-party PACS platforms that support OSDP protocol. Accepts proximity credentials across multiple technology stacks: 125kHz HID Prox, 13.56MHz iCLASS, DESFire, MIFARE, SEOS, and NFC — useful when your organization has accumulated cards from prior vendors or needs to support guest credentials without system redesign. Housing available in black or white with silver trim baseplate; keypad options include 2×6 or 3×4 layout for PIN entry without a separate input device.

Installation Notes

The reader is designed for standard access control rough-in mounting on doors and vestibules. Minimum order quantity is 100 units — plan procurement accordingly if integrating into larger property rollouts. Sourced direct from the manufacturer or US, factory-new condition, no grey-market, no parallel imports.
