HID 2000PGGMH Proximity Access Card
Overview
The HID 2000PGGMH is a passive proximity access card built on the iClass 2K/2 platform — a lightweight credential (0.24 oz) that slides into a wallet, keychain slot, or badge holder. It pairs with any HID proximity reader infrastructure and requires no battery, meaning it operates indefinitely without maintenance. The card carries 137 billion unique identity codes across formats up to 85 bits, delivering sufficient uniqueness for enterprise deployments without code collision risk. F-gloss laminate finish resists surface scratches and provides a finished appearance suitable for photo ID badge integration.
Compatibility
The 2000PGGMH works with all HID proximity readers, including the full range of HID iClass and legacy proximity reader families. It is not compatible with magnetic stripe, smart chip, or multi-technology readers that require different credential encoding. Verify your installed reader base before ordering — if your access control panel supports iClass or standard HID proximity protocol, this card will provision correctly. Cross-reference with your HID system documentation or the card's supplied cross-reference list to map external card number to programmed ID for system administration.
Installation Notes
The 2000PGGMH arrives RF-programmable — your integrator or access control administrator programs the card number and format before deployment using standard HID card encoding tools. Minimum order quantity is 100 cards per lot. The passive design operates in any environment without temperature or humidity constraints. Card durability is inherent to the PVC construction, which resists cracking and flexing even in high-traffic badge environments. No special installation tooling is required beyond your existing HID proximity reader and VMS card provisioning workflow.
