Description

HID 2000HPGGMV Proximity Access Card

Overview

The HID 2000HPGGMV is an RF-programmable proximity access card (iClass 2K/2 format) designed for facilities operating HID proximity reader infrastructure. It's a passive, battery-free credential that works across all HID proximity readers and handles up to 85-bit format encoding with over 137 billion unique code combinations — meaningful capacity for large multi-building deployments where code collision risk matters. The card is durable, flexible PVC construction resistant to cracking, fits standard wallet or badge holder format, and maintains consistent read range even in proximity to keys, coins, or other RF interference sources.

Compatibility

The 2000HPGGMV is compatible with the entire HID proximity reader family — all models that support iClass 2K/2 credential format. Verify your installed reader model supports iClass 2K/2 encoding before bulk ordering; legacy HID readers may require ProxCard II format instead. Cross-reference your facility's existing card stock and reader firmware to confirm format alignment.

Installation Notes

No installation required on the card itself — passive design means no battery, no pairing, no commissioning steps. Issue to end-user and record the external card number and programmed ID number in your access control database for cross-reference administration. Minimum order quantity is 100 units per manufacturer spec.
