Description

HID 2001PGGMN iCLASS 16K/2 Programmed Card Credential

Overview

The HID 2001PGGMN is a pre-programmed iCLASS card with 16KB memory and 2 application areas. This credential type integrates into access control systems that require high-capacity card memory for multi-application deployments — typical in enterprise and campus environments where the same card must carry both badge access and data payload. Comes factory-programmed and ready to deploy with no additional encoding required at installation.

Compatibility

The 2001PGGMN works with any HID access control reader that supports iCLASS credentials, including the HID Signo reader family (20, 40, 20K, 40K, 40T models). iCLASS cards are also compatible with systems supporting DESFire, MIFARE, and HID Mobile Access (NFC/Bluetooth) paired with appropriate reader hardware. Verify your existing reader supports iCLASS technology before bulk deployment — not all HID readers support all credential types.

Installation Notes

The card arrives pre-programmed with factory settings and requires no field encoding. Simply distribute to end users as you would any standard access card. The 16KB capacity stores up to 2 independent applications, allowing flexible allocation of badge access logic, visitor tracking, or facility-specific data. Minimum order quantity is 100 units per the manufacturer, a constraint to plan for in pilot or retrofit scenarios where smaller quantities may be needed.
