Overview
The WJ-NX200/8000T4 is a compact 9-channel NVR designed for small-to-medium IP surveillance installations where storage efficiency matters. It ships with two factory-installed 4TB hard drives (8TB total capacity) and supports H.265 compression, which cuts storage overhead roughly in half compared to H.264 — a real factor when you're running continuous recording schedules across nine simultaneous camera feeds. The unit handles flexible recording modes (continuous, motion-triggered, scheduled) and includes remote monitoring via mobile and web interfaces for off-site access to live and archived footage.

Compatibility
The WJ-NX200/8000T4 works with any standards-compliant IP camera outputting RTSP or ONVIF streams — including i-PRO camera lines, Axis, Hikvision, and other ONVIF Profile S-compliant devices. Before provisioning high-resolution or high-frame-rate cameras, verify resolution and frame-rate limits against the datasheet's per-channel throughput specifications to avoid bitrate bottlenecks. The unit does not support analog CVBS inputs; IP-only connectivity is required. Network connectivity is via a single Gigabit Ethernet port — ensure adequate LAN bandwidth if recording nine cameras simultaneously at high bitrate.
Installation Notes
Requires standard 120V AC mains power (50/60 Hz) with no PoE or redundant power supply support. Dual 4TB hard drives are factory-installed; field replacement is possible but requires verification of drive compatibility with i-PRO documentation before sourcing spares. No direct external storage expansion is supported; consider a NAS for archive if retention requirements exceed 8TB.
