The NVR-RL-2-320TB-V7 is an SRL3EXDL extended-density NVR with dual Intel Xeon Silver 12-core / 24-thread CPUs and 320 TB of recording capacity. It is built for large enterprise and campus surveillance — significant channel counts, extended retention, and concurrent live-monitoring workloads on a single appliance. The 12-core Silver CPUs provide substantial decode and analytics headroom; the extended-density chassis carries more drives than the standard SRL3E.

Large surveillance deployments often run into per-NVR scaling limits: drive bays, decode capability, or memory headroom. The SRL3EXDL tier extends the standard SRL3E with extra drive density, more CPU cores, and the RAM allocation required to push past those limits. A single appliance can carry many hundreds of cameras with motion-mostly profiles or fewer cameras at higher continuous-recording bitrates with extended retention.
Size carefully with the i-PRO bandwidth calculator and the customer's actual motion profile. Pair the appliance with rack PDUs sized for full draw plus headroom and a UPS that can carry the system through a RAID rebuild start. Plan a 10 GbE uplink as the minimum for an appliance this size, and consider redundant network paths for mission-critical sites. Keep a cold-spare drive (matching SKU) on the rack so RAID rebuild starts the same day a drive fails.
