Overview
The NVR-RL-1-20TB-V5 is a 1U rack-mount network video recorder designed for branch offices and retail deployments where you need 20TB of integrated storage in minimal floor space. It runs Windows 11 PRO with an Intel 6-core/12-thread processor and 16GB system RAM, fully configured and tested before shipment—no assembly or software installation required. The unit accepts one 3.5-inch enterprise SATA drive in the front-access bay; OS runs on an internal M.2 SSD. Dual 1GB BASE-T Ethernet ports connect to your managed switch infrastructure; the recorder itself does not supply PoE, so cameras require separate PoE switches or injectors. Power draw is fixed at 260W, so plan your rack PDU capacity accordingly.
Compatibility
Supports any ONVIF Profile S/T/G–compliant IP camera—including i-PRO Extreme, Axis, Hikvision, Dahua, and multi-vendor mixed deployments. Handles H.264 and H.265 streams from heterogeneous camera ecosystems. Integrates with Windows Active Directory for enterprise authentication. NOT compatible with analog CVBS or legacy coaxial systems. Pairs with standard 19-inch rack infrastructure and managed network switches (no special networking equipment required beyond normal Gigabit connectivity).
Installation Notes
Requires 1U vertical rack space and standard 19-inch rail mounting hardware (included). Operating temperature range is 0–40°C (32–104°F)—avoid direct airflow turbulence in data closets. Front-panel microSD card slot allows local backup of configuration metadata without external USB devices. Rear-drive expansion (if supported by future firmware) is a special order requiring factory configuration. Server warranty does not cover third-party component issues.
