i-PRO MR-4C-I3-4TB-W-V1 4-Channel Mobile NVR with PoE
Overview
The i-PRO MR-4C-I3-4TB-W-V1 is a ruggedized 4-channel mobile network video recorder built for law enforcement patrol vehicles, transit fleets, and in-vehicle surveillance. It records simultaneously from forward, rear, interior, and side-view cameras while tolerating continuous vibration, extreme temperature swings, and unstable vehicle power. The solid-state architecture—no spinning drives—means no performance loss from rough terrain or door-slam shock. An Intel Core i3 processor manages 4TB of shock-resistant microSD storage. Wide-voltage DC input (9–36V) handles both standard 12V vehicle systems and heavy-truck 24V supplies without a dedicated converter. Integrated Wi-Fi enables automatic evidence offloading when vehicles return to base, eliminating manual drive retrieval and streamlining evidence chain-of-custody workflows.
Compatibility
The MR-4C-I3-4TB-W-V1 accepts 4-channel input from any ONVIF-compliant IP camera system. It does not lock you to a single camera vendor—i-PRO domes, bullets, or third-party models that output H.265 or H.264 over standard Ethernet integrate without proprietary drivers. PoE delivery powers both cameras and the recorder over a single run, provided your vehicle's power supply sustains the cumulative draw. H.265 and H.264 compression are configurable per channel, allowing you to balance retention time against bitrate—essential when storage must stretch across multi-shift operations or long hauls without depot access.
Installation Notes
Operating temperature range is specified for unheated and uncooled vehicle compartments, meaning no thermal shutdowns in summer heatsoaks or winter freeze-ups. Solid-state design tolerates continuous vibration without degradation—critical in vehicles traversing rough terrain. Wide-voltage DC input (9–36V) eliminates the need for a power converter between your vehicle's electrical system and the recorder.
