The i-PRO B-200-PTZ is a 2MP outdoor PTZ dome designed for monitoring large outdoor areas—parking lots, campuses, perimeter fencing, loading docks—where you need to cover distance and zoom in on detail without deploying multiple fixed cameras. Pan, tilt, and zoom capabilities let you track activity across a wide field, then focus on a specific event in real time. Compatibility
The B-200-PTZ connects via PoE+ (Power over Ethernet Plus), meaning a single network cable delivers both power and data—no separate PSU needed. It integrates with standard ONVIF-compliant video management systems (VMS) and supports H.265/H.264 video encoding, making it compatible with most enterprise NVR platforms and cloud-connected monitoring infrastructure. The camera draws power in the PoE+ range (typically 60–90W depending on zoom and PTZ movement intensity), so verify your switch has sufficient PoE+ budget before deployment. PTZ motors demand high inrush current during rapid pan/tilt commands, meaning undersized switch ports will cause brownout or disconnection.
Installation Notes
Mount the camera on a stable bracket rated for outdoor wind load; PTZ domes are heavier than fixed domes due to motor mechanisms. Run network cabling in a conduit rated for outdoor UV exposure to prevent cable degradation over time. Ensure your PoE+ switch has dedicated ports with sufficient available power budget—do not share PoE circuits with other high-draw devices.
