The P48820-B21 is a replacement high-performance fan kit engineered for HPE ProLiant Gen11 2U rack servers. Deployments that push CPU and memory utilization hard — dense virtualization hosts, high-core-count workloads, or thermally constrained data center rows with restricted airflow — generate more heat than standard fan configurations can reliably clear. This kit addresses that gap by delivering higher airflow capacity within the same 2U chassis footprint, keeping inlet and exhaust temperatures within HPE's supported operating envelope without requiring a chassis swap. At 3.48 lb and 10.70 x 8.20 x 4.00 in, the P48820-B21 is sized specifically for the 2U rack form factor and installs without modification to the server chassis.
