Overview

The PROSIXMINI3 is a wireless magnetic reed switch sensor designed for entry-point monitoring on ProSeries control panels. Ultra-compact form factor fits recessed and surface-mounted applications where standard-sized sensors won't fit. 128-bit AES encryption over SiX two-way protocol ensures sensor state reaches the panel reliably and cannot be spoofed — critical for perimeter security where a defeated contact sensor is a blind spot in your alarm logic. Magnetic reed design has no moving parts to wear out; detect door or window open/close via magnet separation. Up to 200 feet wireless range in open air covers most residential and light commercial deployments without mesh repeaters.

Compatibility

Pairs with Honeywell ProSeries panels: PROA7, PROA7PLUS, PROA7PLUSC. Auto-enrollment simplifies provisioning — no manual serial number entry. Two-way encrypted protocol confirms the sensor is alive and communicating; panel-to-sensor handshake detects dropout before an intrusion occurs. If your ProSeries panel is already deployed, this sensor integrates directly without gateway or translator hardware.

Installation Notes

Battery pull-tab enables field activation — no tools or panel reprogramming required before mount. User-replaceable lithium battery design avoids service calls for battery swap; tech can complete in seconds at the entry point. Tamper protection detects magnet removal or case opening, triggering an alarm condition if configured.
