The Viking Electronics E-30-CE is a handsfree speaker phone with autodialer built for direct connection to a C.O. line or analog phone system. Designed for demanding entry-point and intercom applications, the E-30-CE carries a CE Mark for European market compliance — making it the right choice when a standard E-30 won't satisfy regional certification requirements. The unit features Automatic Noise Canceling (ANC) to maintain intelligible audio in high-ambient-noise environments such as loading docks, manufacturing floors, or exterior vestibules where background noise would otherwise degrade call quality. The faceplate is 14-gauge louvered 316 brushed stainless steel — 316 grade resists chloride corrosion better than 304, which matters in coastal or food-processing environments. Mounting is flexible: flush mount using the included rough-in box, or surface mount with the optional VE-5x5 accessory enclosure.
Compatibility
The E-30-CE connects directly to analog C.O. lines and standard analog phone systems — no VoIP infrastructure required. It is part of the Viking Electronics E-series entry phone family alongside the E-32 (two-button variant), the E-30-IP (SIP VoIP with PoE), and the E-10/E-20 series. For SIP-based deployments or PoE-powered installations, the E-30-IP is the correct variant. Surface mounting requires the separately purchased VE-5x5 enclosure; the flush rough-in box is included. This unit is not a VoIP entry phone — confirm your infrastructure is analog before ordering. For access control integration or multi-door deployments, pair with compatible access control panels that support analog intercom inputs.
