Overview
The Geovision 84-TBLP880-0010 is an 8MP panoramic bullet IP camera delivering 180° horizontal field of view in a compact, fixed-focus form factor. It solves the coverage-per-camera efficiency problem: one unit replaces two or three standard fixed-lens cameras in perimeter, parking lot, and wide-corridor installations. The camera outputs H.265 video, cutting bandwidth and storage overhead by roughly 50% compared to H.264—a measurable win on systems with 10+ cameras sharing limited NAS or switch capacity. Built-in WDR handles mixed lighting (sun-blasted entrance + shaded overhang) without the halo artifacts that can confuse analytics. IR with integrated Day/Night transitions automatically, supporting round-the-clock visibility without manual filter swaps. Compatibility
The 84-TBLP880-0010 integrates with any VMS supporting ONVIF device discovery and H.265 video decoding—Milestone XProtect, Axis Camera Station, Geovision GeoVision Control Center, and third-party NMS platforms. Standard RJ-45 network connectivity works on any Ethernet infrastructure. The camera does not require dedicated firmware or proprietary software; it adheres to ONVIF Profile S baseline. Mount compatibility includes wall brackets (GV-Mount504), pole straps (GV-Mount440 or GV-Mount440-1, Ø67–127mm), convex and concave corner mounts (GV-Mount300-2 and GV-Mount310-2), and power-box surface mounts (GV-Mount924 for US gang boxes). Existing PoE power plants—UPS-backed switches, midspan injectors, or PoE+ supplies—power this unit without upgrade.
Installation Notes
The 137 × 233 × 160 mm (5.4" × 9.17" × 6.3") housing and 1.65 kg (3.64 lb) weight suit standard L-bracket and strap hardware; no special reinforcement required. The fixed 1.68 mm focal length at F/2.0 aperture requires line-of-sight placement—180° coverage demands unobstructed view. IR range extends approximately 20–30 meters under low-light conditions; place the camera where shadows or overhangs won't block the IR pattern. Network installation follows standard RJ-45 runs; the camera supports 10/100 Mbps (non-PoE+ devices). Configure IP address via DHCP or static assignment; ONVIF discovery tools auto-locate the camera on the LAN once provisioned.
