Description

Geovision 84-BX320-E11U IP Camera

Overview

The Geovision 84-BX320-E11U (GV-BX320D-E) is a 3MP IP box camera with varifocal 2.8–6mm lens and integrated IR. Built for standard commercial deployments—retail floors, office corridors, loading docks—where you need fixed or slightly adjustable framing without pan/tilt complexity. The H.264 compression keeps bandwidth and storage predictable across 24/7 recording, and the IR night vision extends coverage into complete darkness without supplementary lighting.

Compatibility

This camera integrates with any standard IP-based network video management system supporting ONVIF Profile S or H.264 RTSP streams. It connects via standard Ethernet (RJ45) and draws power from PoE-compliant switches or injectors meeting 802.3af or higher. Works alongside mainstream NVR platforms and VMS software that support H.264 multistream recording. No proprietary hardware required—standard IP camera infrastructure suffices.

Installation Notes

Deploy this camera indoors or in protected enclosures. The varifocal lens (2.8–6mm) requires manual focus adjustment at installation; plan for physical access to the camera during commissioning to dial in the precise focal distance for your coverage area. Mount on wall or ceiling using standard camera brackets (not included). Integrate into your existing PoE switch or use a separate injector if PoE capacity is limited. H.264 encoding runs at standard frame rates; allocate roughly 2–4 Mbps per stream depending on resolution, compression level, and scene activity.
