Description

Unitech 5200-900009G Gooseneck Hand Free Stand

Overview

The Unitech 5200-900009G is a gooseneck hand-free stand engineered for Unitech MS851x and MS852x handheld scanners in fixed-position workflows. Deploy this stand at checkout counters, receiving docks, or inventory-verification stations where continuous scanning without operator hand-holding is the priority. The flexible gooseneck neck lets you angle the scanner toward barcodes at varied heights and depths, reducing operator fatigue and keeping both hands free for bagging, data entry, or package handling.

Compatibility

The 5200-900009G cradle interface is designed specifically for the Unitech MS851x and MS852x scanner families. Do not attempt to mount other scanner brands or models — mechanical fit is proprietary. If your deployment runs mixed scanner manufacturers or you anticipate a future hardware transition, verify cradle compatibility with your exact scanner model before purchase. A minimum order quantity of 11 units applies.

Installation Notes

Mount the gooseneck base to a stable, level surface (table, countertop, or mounting bracket) using the clamp or adhesive pad included with your installation kit. Vibration or flex in the base degrades barcode read accuracy — ensure solid contact. Position the scanner neck so the scan window faces your typical barcode orientation (flat label, angled label, or vertical spine mount), and secure the scanner cradle firmly to prevent accidental dislodging during high-volume shifts. The stand requires no power supply or external wiring; scanner power and USB connectivity are managed by the scanner and host system independently.
