Installation Notes
Wall-mounted installation requires a solid backing surface (drywall with studs, concrete, or metal framing) to support the camera weight and lens load. Ensure the wall surface can accept fasteners appropriate to your substrate—use wall anchors or studs in drywall, concrete anchors in masonry. Position the mount to avoid direct sunlight on the lens during peak hours, as this reduces glare and improves image contrast. Confirm that power and network cabling can reach the PN300 camera from your PoE switch or power supply without strain or tension on connectors.
