Geovision GV-MOUNT205 Wall Box Mount Bracket Kit
Overview
The GV-MOUNT205 is a compact wall-mounted box bracket designed to install Geovision vandal-proof IP domes flush against interior or exterior walls. The bracket accepts the dome's back cover directly and houses cable routing internally—solving the cable-management problem on clean wall installations where a surface-mounted bracket would leave exposed wiring. Dimensions of Ø 160 × 126.5 × 203 mm (Ø 6.3 × 5 × 8 in) keep the footprint tight without sacrificing rigidity. Weight of 0.5 kg (1.1 lb) requires only standard wall anchors, not heavy-duty fixings.
Compatibility
The GV-MOUNT205 is compatible with Geovision vandal-proof IP dome models: GV-VD120D, GV-VD121D, GV-VD122D, GV-VD123D, GV-VD220D, GV-VD221D, GV-VD222D, GV-VD223D, GV-VD320D, GV-VD321D, GV-VD322D, GV-VD323D, GV-VD1500, GV-VD2400, GV-VD2500, and GV-VD3400. The bracket also supports select GV-FD and GV-FE series domes, though screw requirements differ per family (see installation notes). Do not use with other manufacturers' domes or non-vandal Geovision models.
Installation Notes
The GV-MOUNT205 installation requires 4 wall anchors and M4 screws (supplied). The number of M4 screws used varies by camera family: GV-VD series require 11 of the supplied M4 (8 mm) screws; GV-FD and GV-FE series require 10. Four mounting steps apply: (1) Mark wall, drill, insert anchors; (2) Secure mounting plate to wall bracket with 4 M4 (40 mm) screws; (3) Attach housing plate to mounting plate with 3 M4 screws; (4) Secure camera back cover to housing plate with 4 M4 screws. Verify camera model before ordering—incompatible domes will not seat properly on the housing plate.
