Installation Notes
The GV-MOUNT205-150 requires four wall anchors drilled into the substrate. VD-series domes require 11 M4 screws (8 mm length) for full installation, while FD/FE series require only 10 screws — the kit includes 15 M4 screws (8 mm) to accommodate both configurations. Installation follows a fixed sequence: wall anchors first, then the mounting plate secured to the bracket, followed by the housing plate, and finally the camera back cover. The assembly holds the camera body at a fixed forward-facing orientation — this is not an adjustable tilt mount. Ensure wall surface is solid (masonry, concrete, or reinforced drywall) before installation; drywall anchors alone are insufficient for high-traffic areas where impact resistance matters.
