Overview
The GV-MOUNT-81 is a pendant-style mounting bracket designed for ceiling-suspended camera deployments in indoor environments. This accessory solves the installation problem of securing IP cameras to overhead structures where flush wall mounting is not an option — retail floors, hotel lobbies, warehouse aisles, and commercial corridors benefit from pendant suspension because it places the camera lens perpendicular to the floor and avoids wall obstructions. The integrated anti-drop safety mechanism provides mechanical redundancy, preventing accidental camera detachment during installation or maintenance.

Installation Notes
Pendant mounting is suitable for standard indoor ceiling installations where the camera is center-hung from overhead structure (suspended drop ceiling, structural beam, or custom canopy). The anti-drop feature requires proper engagement during installation — do not skip safety-mechanism verification. Tools and fasteners specific to your ceiling type (drywall anchors, lag bolts, or threaded rod) are not included; source these based on your overhead substrate. The optional GV-Mount707 extension is available for applications requiring longer pendant drops or additional standoff distance from the ceiling plane.
