The Panduit FODLX12 is a 12-fiber, OM3 indoor distribution cable featuring Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) construction. Its 900µm buffered fibers provide robust protection, making it suitable for environments where fire safety and data integrity are paramount. This cable is engineered for high-speed data transmission in structured cabling systems, supporting applications like 10 Gigabit Ethernet and beyond.

Compatibility

This bulk fiber optic cable is designed for integration into standard fiber optic systems and requires compatible fiber optic connectors, patch panels, and transceivers. It is compatible with all common fiber optic termination tools and equipment designed for 900µm buffered fiber and OM3 specifications. When used with appropriate transceivers, it supports 10GbE up to 300 meters and 40/100GbE up to 100 meters.

Installation Notes

The cable's 900µm tight-buffered fiber design simplifies termination by eliminating the need for furcation tubing in many installations. The LSZH jacket minimizes smoke and toxic gas emissions in case of fire, a critical factor for indoor installations in public spaces, data centers, and enterprise environments.
